Flight time

Temporary zones are shown and checked for this time (dashed = not in force then). Leave it as now if you fly now.

PRE-FLIGHT CHECKS

Draw a route — checks against terrain, the 120 m limit and geozones run automatically.

Terrain: Mapzen/AWS terrarium — in Latvia the source is EU-DEM, a surface model on a 25 m grid (trees and buildings are already in it, but smoothed). It does not resolve a single tree, a power line or a mast, and over forest it reads lower than the real canopy. Add a margin and keep visual contact with the drone.

SAVE / EXPORT

I confirm that I will know the launch time, will be on site and will see the drone, and can take over control. An automated route is not an autonomous flight.

A saved plan lands in Work orders (MAP) and in the plan-vs-actual flight comparison. Export altitudes are metres above the take-off point ([lon, lat, alt]).
